Would you please look at this kid's stomach? He might need a diet soon!

Happy birthday, sweet Whit!
How on earth is my baby 4?!? I know people say time flies when you have kids and I now realize what they mean! I was telling someone earlier I spent 4 years in high school and 4 years in college, but these 4 years with Whit have gone by so much faster! How is that possible? 1 minute he's fat as can be and just sitting there (this phase didn't last long) and now he's long, lean and ON THE GO constantly! This kid has such a sweet heart, and for all of the hard times I give him about his energy I do love that he's so full of life and just has fun every single day. I can't wait to see what the next 4 years bring and then beyond. I'm so thankful for his life and so excited about his future! I love you, my sweet Whit!

My mom sent me these from her camera from the party...
Geeze- who does this kid look like?!
Brit- you need to make these! Marshmallows dipped in chocolate and rolled in sprinkles. I can't stop eating them!

Kachow!
If you have spent any time around Whit you probably know that he LOVES Lightning McQueen. I mean, loves anything from Cars- it doesn't matter what. Marketing people are brilliant and realized that if a product had Cars on it a child would want it, and that is exactly Whit. So, it was pretty easy to come up with a theme for his birthday party- Cars! He also loves riding his bike and racing so I decided to have everyone bring their bikes over and we would have a real race.
After decorating his bike
Snacks!
Go, Thompson, Go!
Go Hadley!
Parties are tiring! You would think from this picture he slept all afternoon, however it was his typical hour and a half nap.
Graham is ready to go!
Whit got LOTS of Cars gear!
We had a fun day celebrating and are thankful for sweet friends to help us celebrate Whit's life!

Oops... I did it again
Well, well, well... guess what happens when you run down the stairs, slip, and fall? You get this:
I will say that even though I might be spending quite some time in this boot, and it's my driving foot, which really stinks, there are so many things to be thankful for in this situation. 1) I wasn't holding a child. 2) I didn't have to have a screw put in between my bones like I thought I might for a few minutes. 3) I'm healthy! I think about the moms who are in the hospital- who have cancer- so why can I complain about my foot in a boot? It slows me down but I'm doing just fine. I would ask for your prayers though- for all of us :) And for a quick healing!

Meet me in St. Louis
Over Memorial Day weekend we took the crazies to St. Louis with my parents and had a blast. By blast I mean little sleep for the kiddos, thus the kiddos melting down, but all-in-all it was a great time. St. Louis is a great place to visit with kids because there is so much to do and most of it is free! Hello, bargain!
(Warning- lots of pictures! This should last you a few days, Melissa :))
Whit at the zoo
Happy and Whit-man looking at elephants
One of the few naps T-bird took

Poor kid looks terrible. JUST SLEEP!
At Grant's Farm feeding goats- looked like this at first...
Then he was in my arm's within about .5 seconds
Ahh... feeding through the fence is much better

Whit- do you like the arch? Yes, he does.
Whit- it's time to leave-
The arch was NOT for me!
Looking at the arch
